Customer Operations at Strive Logistics serves as the key day-to-day point-of-contact for account management responsibilities associated with their client portfolio. They enhance the customer experience by meeting/exceeding customer expectations and KPIs. Internal account KPIs (Revenue, load count, gross margin, etc) are achieved by actively soliciting for expected and growth business. Representative position collaborates with internal and external departments to coordinate shipment activity to make an immediate impact on the business. Responsibilities:

  • Growing account(s) by building relationships with and recognizing opportunities from customers’ Load Planners, schedulers, etc.
    • Calling and/or emailing customers to see what freight they are working on
    • Seeking out static freight/lanes from customers, shippers, consignees
    • Entering customer static lanes into LoadRunner’s customer File Maintenance
  • Entering appropriate customer notes in LoadRunner’s-CRM
  • Ensuring aging for assigned accounts is within acceptable standards
    • Resolving short-pays received from Strive’s Accounts Receivable department
  • Quoting customers rates for hot loads, non-contracted freight, and/or special requirement loads
  • Attending customer conference calls with or without Customer Sales Rep, when applicable
  • Accepting and declining loads customers are offering to Strive
  • Maintaining up-to-date account information including rates, backup files, changes to account, etc.
  • Serving the daily shipping needs of the customer by answering customers, shippers, and consignees' emails and phone calls in a timely, professional manner
  • Entering load information received from customer into Strive's TMS, LoadRunner
  • Scheduling pick up appointments and delivery appointments for loads
  • Updating LoadRunner's File Maintenance facilities, shippers and consignees, to ensure information is complete and up-to-date
  • Communicating internally to Strive's departments to help resolve issues and requests
  • Watching and managing loads’ statuses and check calls for portfolio
  • Updating customer websites with loads' statuses, loaded/delivered, if required by customer
  • Qualifying if a shipper and/or a consignee is a good sales lead
  • Maintaining timely resolution of open Problems within acceptable standards

  • Bachelor's Degree
